2009 Wellesley College Swim Clinic

Wellesley College Swimming and Diving will be hosting the 2009 Wellesley College Swim Clinic on Saturday, November 21st, 2009. This years clinic will feature former Olympic gold medallist BJ Bedford Miller and National Team Coach Jonty Skinner and will focus on teaching high level stroke mechanics, goal setting, and athletic intelligence to camp participants.
The 2009 Swim Clinic is open to age group, college, and masters swimmers of all abilities as well as their coaches. Registration will be limited to ensure that camp participants get the highest quality instruction possible, and will be handled on a first come/first sever basis. In the water for stroke with with BJ and Jonty. BJ will be in the pool with the swimmers, moving from lane to lane with technical advice while Jonty runs the session from the deck. The morning session will cover Backstroke and Freestyle. |

INFORMATION FOR SWIMMERS:
Swimmers are asked to arrive at 8:30am EST on Saturday, November 21st for Camp Sign In.
Swimmers will need to pack a bag lunch and snacks as no food will be provided during the clinic.
Swimmers should pack multiple towels as they will be in the water during both the morning and afternoon sessions of camp.
Swimmers are being asked to arrive and stay in their suits in order to minimize changing time and should bring warm deck clothes to wear while not in the water.
INFORMATION FOR COACHES:
Coaches are asked to arrive at 8:30am EST for Saturday, November 21st for Camp Sign In.
During training sessions coaches are invited on deck to observe BJ Bedford Miller and Jonty Skinner coach camp participants in stroke drills and mechanics.
Coaches will be provided with a Q&A session with Jonty Skinner in order to have specific coaching questions answered.
CLINIC FEES:
The Clinic Fee for the 2009 Swim Clinic is $75.00 for all participants.
Clinic Fees are due at the time of registration. Because space is limited, registration packets submitted with out the clinic fee will be placed on the waiting list until payment is received.
